How does Protexx fabric protection with a 3-year stain service work?
In most cases, a stain soaks into every fibre of the fabric almost immediately. That's why a fabric sofa often can't be cleaned properly any more. If you've sprayed the Protexx fabric protector onto your new fabric sofa or piece of furniture, the stain stays on the surface of the fabric and you can easily remove it from your furniture.
You can compare this to a drop of water on a cloth. If you let a drop fall on a fabric cloth, the fabric soaks it up straight away. If the cloth has been sprayed with Protexx, the drop stays on the surface and you can wipe it away. This is because Protexx spray bonds around every fibre of the textile.
On top of that, you also get a stain service for three years. This means a service technician will come to your home if you can't get a stain out yourself. They assess the stain and make sure your furniture is professionally cleaned. This service is valid for 3 years from the moment your furniture is in your home.
Which stains is your furniture protected against?
If you treat your new piece of furniture with Protexx straight after purchase, your fabric sofa is protected against stains. Here is a list of the kinds of stains this covers:

Applying Protexx yourself
The Protexx fabric protector makes sure your fabric furniture is optimally protected against food and drink stains. You apply Protexx yourself to your new fabric sofa or other upholstered furniture by spraying it in even strokes. Before using the Protexx fabric protector, read the instructions supplied with the product carefully.
Removing stains
Did you spray your new fabric sofa or other piece of furniture with Protexx fabric protection as soon as it arrived? And has a stain landed on your sofa anyway? Don't worry: thanks to the Protexx fabric protector, you can remove the stain easily.
Use the white cloth supplied or another clean, dry cloth and dab the stain out of the sofa. It's important not to rub. Rubbing can spread the stain further, and there's a chance you won't get it out any more and the stain service won't be able to help you either.
Can't remove the stain with a clean cloth? Then use the fabric cleaner supplied. This is a stain spray that you should always test first on an inconspicuous spot to check that the surface doesn't change colour. If it doesn't, spray the stain thoroughly and let the spray soak in for a moment. Then gently dab the stain away with a clean, dry cloth. Repeat the treatment if the stain hasn't gone.
Can't get the stain out yourself? Then contact the Oranje Furniture Care service number within 3 working days. You'll find this number on your service card. If in doubt, it's always wise not to clean the stain yourself but to call Oranje Furniture Care first.
Important to know
Keep the purchase invoice for your upholstered furniture together with the service card(s) from all the care kits you received. This serves as your guarantee.
Check that you've received enough Protexx. For example, if you buy a 2.5-seater sofa and a 2-seater sofa, that's 4.5 seats in total. You will then receive a care kit for 5 seats.
Protexx only applies to normal use of the furniture, so not to stains caused deliberately or by rough treatment. Do you want to use your furniture for a project or for commercial purposes? Then unfortunately you can't purchase Protexx.
